In addition to the hourly rate, we charge a base fee of 6.60 € per cleaning. If Ametro’s vacuum cleaner is used for the cleaning, there is an additional equipment fee of 6.60 € per cleaning.

You can claim the tax credit for household expenses for 35% of the costs of our senior services, just like all other home cleaning services and domestic work. You can either claim the credit yourself or have a family member, who is responsible for your service payment, reach out to us.

Who is eligible for VAT-free services from Ametro?
VAT-exempt cleaning and other services are available when functional capacity is permanently or temporarily reduced, such as due to old age, illness, or accidents.

Do I need a medical certificate for Ametro’s VAT-exempt services?
You do not need a medical certificate or an external official assessment. A self-description of the decline in functional capacity and the need for assistance is sufficient. Based on your needs, we will create a service plan and agreement for you.

My home hasn’t been cleaned in a while and is messy. Is it okay to request cleaning help?
Don’t worry about the cleanliness of your home! Cleaning is our job. With professional equipment, the work proceeds smoothly, and your home will stay clean for a long time.

How do I claim the tax credit for household expenses?
The Finnish Tax Administration provides comprehensive instructions for claiming the credit. Our service personnel will also be happy to assist you.

You can easily report the creditable expenses using the OmaVero service. It’s advisable to consider the tax credit when determining the withholding percentage for your own tax card. This can also be done conveniently through the OmaVero service.
